COSIMO, a digital asset holding company founded in 2014, raised $25 million, led by Des Mac Intyre, co-founder of Eolas Capital and a former executive at Bridgewater and Mellon Investments. According to the announcement, COSIMO is involved in multiple crypto sectors, including tokenized venture capital, custody and equity hedge funds. After operating for a decade, COSIMO has expanded into multiple cryptocurrency sub-sectors and plans to become a competitor to cryptocurrency management and service provider Galaxy Digital. Co-founder Ciaran Haynes said the company is planning a series of new announcements, including a new project involving the "creator economy".
