EVM Compatible Blockchain Cronos has completed the v1.4.0 Pallene upgrade, which increases transaction execution speed by 600x. This upgrade enables parallel transaction processing within a single block by introducing Block-STM technology, enabling the virtual machine to process up to 60,000 transactions per second (TPS). In addition, Pallene also introduces optimistic execution through Cosmos SDK 0.50 to optimize block processing and network responsiveness, and upgrades the Cross-Chain Communication Protocol (IBC) to enhance cross-chain connectivity.
