About 100 million Americans face extreme heat, New York or breaking temperature records
On June 24th, local time on June 23rd, about 100 million people in 27 states in the United States are threatened by extreme heat weather, including Los Angeles and New York, the two largest cities in the United States. Los Angeles issued a heat warning, with temperatures expected to reach 32 to 37.7 degrees Celsius. At the same time, New York City also issued an extreme heat weather warning, and the city's highest single-day temperature record in 136 years may be broken.
