Financial tech giant Revolut plans to roll out Revolut Pay to cryptocurrency customers starting in 2025 to bolster protection against fraud attacks. Revolut said in a statement that a 12-month pilot with companies using Revolut Pay's enhanced due diligence, direct API integration, and end-to-end payment process control showed that cryptocurrency customers were subject to about a 50 percent reduction in fraud attempts. These enhancements include Know Your Customer (KYC) name matching, fraud warning screens, cryptocurrency proof of delivery, and the ability for cryptocurrency merchants to receive transaction risk scores.
