A16z Crypto Partner: artificial intelligence needs blockchain-enabled computing

Chris Dixon, managing partner of a16z Crypto, wrote on the X platform that artificial intelligence requires blockchain-powered computing and is optimistic about the convergence of these technologies. Artificial intelligence will end the internet as we know it. Its progress is inevitable, and will primarily bring benefits. But artificial intelligence has upended the economic contract of the internet, and big tech companies are most likely to benefit from it. Artificial intelligence-driven deepfakes and bots are also reducing trust in the online world. To address these challenges and not slow down artificial intelligence innovation, blockchain can: - Force users and creators to own property. Verify identity to isolate bots and imposters. - Ensure authenticity and prevent tampering. Encryption can carry the torch of the open Internet and help maintain its creativity, openness, and diversity.
