Donald Trump will officially become the 47th president of the United States and return to the White House next Monday (January 20), according to BBC News. Inauguration Day includes a formal swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, celebratory parades and a series of formal balls.
Among them, musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 EST (14:30 GMT) on the main event stage on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. This will be followed by Trump and Vance's swearing-in ceremony, and the president will also give an inaugural address outlining his goals for the next four years. Trump will then travel to the President's Office near the Senate to sign important documents. He will then attend a lunch hosted by the Joint Committee on Congressional Inaugurations.
Later in the evening, Mr. Trump is expected to give speeches at three inaugural balls - the Commander-in-Chief Ball, the Freedom Ball and the Starlight Ball.
