Two U.S. law firms are suing Pump.fun, demanding that the platform remove tokens that use their IP

According to Cointelegraph, Pump.fun received a cease and desist order for allegedly using the logos and names of two law firms that are currently suing the platform. US law firm Burwick Law said in a statement on the X platform that the company and Wolf Popper have issued a cease and desist order to Pump.fun for the "immediate removal" of Dog Shit Going NoWhere (DOGSHIT2) and other tokens that "impersonate our company" through the unauthorized use of intellectual property, including its logo and name. According to Pump.fun, multiple users created tokens using the names and logos of Burwick Law and Wolf Popper in various configurations. Some of the tokens also used the names and likenesses of Burwick Law employees and one of its clients in the lawsuit against PumpFun.
