On February 14th, according to Cointelegraph, Nansen data shows that BNB Chain surpassed Solana in terms of single-day transaction fees, ranking first among all blockchains. On February 13th, BNB Chain's single-day transaction fees exceeded $5.80 million, surpassing Solana's $3.30 million, and the total was more than five times that of Ethereum. This is the first time since Halloween 2024 that other blockchains outside of Ethereum and Solana have led the entire industry in terms of daily transaction fees. Most of BNB Chain's activity comes from PancakeSwap, a DEX that runs on multiple chains, but most of its trading volume comes from BNB Chain. On February 13, PancakeSwap topped the list of DEXs for all chains. On the eve of Valentine's Day, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao revealed that his dog is named Broccoli, which sparked a wave of meme coins named after his Belgian shepherd. Changpeng Zhao clarified that he has no plans to launch his own meme coin.
