The use of overnight reverse repos by the Federal Reserve has fallen to its lowest level since April 2021
The use of overnight reverse repos (RRPs) by the Federal Reserve fell further on Friday, falling to its lowest level in nearly four years. About 22 counterparties deposited $58.80 billion in RRPs on Friday, the lowest since April 2021 and $67.80 billion the previous day. The number of counterparties also hit its lowest level since May 2020.
