The FBI is launching a crackdown on cryptocurrency fraud attackers and says it has saved more than $285 million in damages for more than 4,300 victims. The government initiative, known as "Operation Elevate," seeks to reduce about $3.90 billion in losses from cryptocurrency-related investment fraud in 2023 alone.
