In an interview with Bloomberg, Jeremy Allaire, CEO of stablecoin issuer Circle, said that issuers of digital tokens pegged to the US dollar should be forced to register and operate in the US. Allaire believes that non-US stablecoin providers should not be allowed to circumvent US regulations while still serving US customers.
