In June, the trading volume of BTC and ETH futures contracts fell by 19.9% and 23.8% respectively.
On July 1st, according to The Block Chief Research Officer @lars0x, June crypto market derivatives data was shared on the X platform:
1. In terms of unpositioned squaring positions in futures contracts: BTC fell 6.9% and ETH fell 3.1%; BTC futures contract monthly trading volume fell 19.9% to $1 trillion;
2. CME Bitcoin futures unpositioned squaring positions fell 9.6% to $9.30 billion (average daily volume increased 3.4% to $4.50 billion);
Monthly trading volume of ETH futures contracts fell 23.8% to $52.81 billion.
4. In terms of unpositioned squaring positions in options: BTC fell 39.45%, ETH fell 55.6%; BTC options monthly trading volume fell 7.9% to $43.10 billion, and ETH options monthly trading volume fell 46.2% to $16.90 billion.
