According to News.bitcoin, the White House explained Trump's executive order that confiscated bitcoins will no longer be sold and will be stored as part of a new strategic bitcoin reserve managed for the US Treasury, and other digital assets will go into a separate US digital asset reserve, with the goal of strengthening supervision, improving management, and developing a long-term crypto strategy. Federal agencies must now report bitcoin holdings directly to the Treasury Department.
