The Fantom Foundation announced the approval of the third Sonic governance proposal on the X platform, covering ecosystem grants, new token destruction mechanisms, and innovative programs such as Sonic Spark and Sonic University. It is reported that over the next six years, the Sonic Foundation will allocate a portion of the tokens as Sonic Labs' operating funds to manage dApps, BD partnerships, and network growth between the growing community of existing and new users.
