Gemini cryptocurrency exchange is expanding the trading capabilities of its European institutional clients by enabling US dollar payment channels for institutional clients in the UK and Switzerland. The feature will also be available to institutional users in Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. This new feature will enable institutions to deposit and withdraw US dollars into Gemini accounts for free, and to trade cryptocurrencies directly using US dollars without the need to convert to pounds sterling or euros, thus reducing transaction friction.
