Musk's xAI has formally acquired Hotshot, an AI video generation startup focused on developing artificial intelligence video generation technology similar to OpenAI Sora. Hotshot said on its website that it stopped new video making services on March 14, and it is unclear whether all Hotshot employees will join xAI.
