The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively closed up, with the Dow up 0.93%, the Nasdaq up 1.41%, the S & P 500 up 1.08%, large technology stocks rising, Tesla up more than 4%, Broadcom up more than 3%, and Google up more than 2%.
