ZKsync: Mailbox contract backwards compatibility issue may take 1.5-2 weeks to resolve
ZKsync, the Ethereum Layer 2 network, posted a reminder on the X platform that there is a temporary problem with the backwards compatibility of the Mailbox contract during the protocol upgrade v26, which will affect the L1 → L2 transaction, because the relevant transaction was originally processed by the Mailbox contract, but the backwards compatibility is temporarily not working due to the different transition stages of bridge and L2 during the v26 upgrade. It may take 1.5-2 weeks to solve this problem at present, so users are advised to use "requestL2TransactionDirect requestL2TransactionTwoBridges" on BridgeHub instead of Mailbox, and it is recommended to migrate to BridgeHub to avoid the deprecation of the Mailbox contract in the future.
