Federal Reserve Governor Paul Waller: At this week's meeting, I am leaning towards continuing the current pace of balance sheet reduction. As we move closer to ample levels of reserves, it would be appropriate to slow or stop the reduction. It is believed that a slowing pace of rate cuts starting in June 2024 remains the right choice.
