Crypto Super PAC Network Will Support Florida Republican House Candidates

The crypto-funded Super PAC network, which includes Fairshake, Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress, will endorse two Florida Republican candidates in the April 1 special election for the US House of Representatives. Among them, Defend American Jobs will place $1.20 million in advertising in support of Florida senator Randy Fine, who wrote on X that "Floridians want to see crypto innovation" and called for "clear regulations". The Super PAC will also commit $345,000 to support Jimmy Patronis, who plans to run for the seat of former Rep. Matt Gaetz. Patronis previously sent a letter to the Florida Board of Governors asking for a study on whether some state pension could be invested in digital assets. At present, there are four vacant seats in the US House of Representatives, two of which are in Florida. If Democrats win all the seats, the Republican lead in the House of Representatives will be only one vote.
