According to recent job postings, social media giant Meta is offering $347,000 a year, plus bonuses, equity and benefits, to experts who advance its vision of an AI meta-universe. Meta wants to use generative artificial intelligence to research and prototype new "consumer experiences", such as games that are "non-deterministic, personalized and change every time you play." Meta pointed out that the focus of the position will initially be on Horizon, a mixed reality gaming ecosystem built on its integrated game creation system, but it may expand to include non-Meta platforms such as mobile and PC.
