Hyperliquid response: The committee voted to remove JELLY from the shelves, and user losses will be fully compensated by the foundation
Hyperliquid posted a response on Discord saying that after discovering suspicious market activity, the validator committee voted to remove the JELLY perpetual contract.
All user losses will be fully compensated by the Hyper Foundation, except for marked addresses. Compensation will be automatically executed in the coming days based on on-chain data, without the need to submit work orders. The specific implementation will be detailed in subsequent announcements. Similar to other public blockchains, validators often need to collectively negotiate and take decisive action to maintain network integrity. Hyperliquid will prioritize the robustness and transparency of the voting system.
It is also recorded that the current 24-hour net profit and loss of HLP (Hyperliquid Protocol) is approximately 700,000 USDC. Technical improvements will be advanced simultaneously, and the experience of this event will make the network more perfect. More details will be announced soon.
