South Korea's financial regulator has suspended penalties for Upbit's three-month suspension of some operations

According to Newsis, the effect of Upbit's "three-month suspension of some business" by financial authorities has been temporarily suspended. The Seoul Administrative Court on March 26 approved the application of Upbit operator Dunamu against the South Korean Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIU) for the suspension of enforcement. According to the court's decision, the effect of the suspension of some of Upbit's business will be suspended until the conclusion of the lawsuit brought by Dunamu at the same time. Specifically, the penalty effect will be suspended until 30 days from the date of the judgment in this lawsuit. This means that new Upbit users can continue to withdraw cryptocurrencies for the time being.
