OpenTensor Foundation: Officials will not ask users to provide information such as seed phrases, beware of such scams
The OpenTensor Foundation said in a post on X that the OTF team is working to ensure the safety of at-risk TAO funds before restoring the normal operation of the Bittensor chain. At the same time, anyone other than the OTF team who claims to be able to recover users' at-risk TAO funds should be considered a scammer.
Please be clear: the official will never ask users to provide mnemonics or seed phrases, nor will they ask users to provide any private information. There are no so-called DAOs, airdrops, polls, etc., unless users see an official account posting such information.
The foundation encourages users to report such activities in various community channels so that others can become aware of and alert to these scams.
