Metaverse project Decentraland announced that Q3 will focus on the development of a new desktop client, with public beta expected in Q4. Alpha test applications are now open. The team will also improve the content creation process and develop a comprehensive editor. In order to focus on the new client side launch, Decentraland will suspend major events, the only major event is the Decentraland Music Festival in November. Meta Universe Fashion Week will be held in March 2025 to showcase a more complete desktop client side.
