Bitcoin L2 Network Stacks has completed coding for the Nakamoto upgrade
The Stacks Foundation, the foundation of the Bitcoin L2 network Stacks, said on the X platform that Nakamoto's code writing has been completed ahead of schedule (July 15) and is currently undergoing internal and external audits, testing, and bug fixes.
It is reported that the Nakamoto upgrade will decouple Stacks' block production schedule from Bitcoin's, and will introduce a new Stacks block production method to update its transfer proof consensus algorithm. The Stacks Nakamoto upgrade will enable transaction speeds of around 5-10 seconds, which is about 100 times faster than the current transaction speed.
