Space and Time executive: It's a "mistake" to see blockchain and AI as competing technologies
Catherine Daly, head of marketing at Space and Time, a decentralized data platform, says it would be a mistake to treat artificial intelligence and blockchain as competing industries. Instead, Daly believes that "there is a lot of room for both sides to accelerate the development of the other." In the next few years, certain tasks, such as travel bookings or online payments, may be performed by artificial intelligence agents. However, for artificial intelligence agents to successfully perform these tasks in real time, "the logic of how people spend money" must be fed into smart contracts. Daly believes that blockchain will find a great market for products suitable for agent transactions.
