Binance chief compliance officer: Still working to secure Tigran Gambaryan's release from Nigeria
According to Binance's official blog, Noah Perlman, Binance's Chief Compliance Officer, shared the evolution of Binance's understanding and enforcement of compliance. He said that Binance is doing three things at the same time: first, correcting past problems; second, running a business-as-usual compliance program as the world's largest exchange with more than 200 million users; and third, continuously improving the program. In addition, Noah Perlman revealed that Binance has been working hard to ensure the release of Tigran Gambaryan. Every internal compliance meeting begins with an update on Tigran's situation, and Binance constantly communicates with the Nigerian government to defend it, stressing that he cannot be held responsible for Binance's activities in Nigeria. Noah Perlman said: "We will not forget Tigran Gambaryan and we will continue to work tirelessly to get him back to safety and back to his family."
