Coinbase, Ripple, and a16z plan to send representatives to the Republican National Convention (RNC), followed by the Democratic National Convention (DNC). Politico said the companies will first "make a statement to Republican power brokers" in favor of producing election results that favor policies for the industry, underscoring the broad Republican support for the crypto industry. Participating in the RNC and DNC represents each company's ongoing commitment to bipartisan crypto policies. All three companies are members of the Fairshake super PAC, which raised $177.90 million and spent $70.90 million during the 2024 election cycle. The super PAC is designed to benefit U.S. candidates who support cryptocurrencies regardless of party membership.
