BTC cross-chain protocol Free Protocol TVL has surpassed $1 billion
According to the latest data from Defillama, the cumulative total pledge value (TVL) of the cross-chain standard Free Protocol for BTC homogenization tokens has exceeded $1 billion, ahead of other products in the industry. Compared with protocols such as LayerZeroOFT, Free Protocol is more mature in market application scenarios. After multiple rounds of security audits, it has served various mainstream BTC homogenization tokens such as M-BTC, SolvBTC, BBTC, pumpBTC, uBTC, as well as mainstream public blockchains such as Merlin, Mode, zkLink, Linea, Scroll, Core, B2, Kava, Kroma, Klaytn, BounceBit, BEVM, etc. It is reported that Free Protocol is a secure cross-chain service standard that allows for the minting, transfer and destruction of homogeneous tokens across multiple chains without the need for asset packaging, intermediate chains or liquidity pools, fundamentally eliminating the complexity of BTC-related assets bridging between chains. This not only enables the multi-chain supply of BTC homogenized tokens, but also simplifies the difficulty of multi-chain interactions and enhances the overall liquidity value in the DeFi ecosystem.
