Arbitrum Launches Proposal "Plans to Open Up Permissions to Deploy Orbit Chains on Networks Outside of Ethereum, Arbitrum Will Charge 10% of Profits on the Chain"
On July 26th, snapshot revealed that Arbitrum has launched a proposal to open up the rights to deploy Orbit chains on networks outside Ethereum, such as Bitcoin Network, Cosmos, etc. In return, the newly established Orbit chain needs to return 10% of its on-chain profits to the Arbitrum ecosystem, 8% to ArbitrumDAO, and 2% to the Developers Association.
It is reported that the "Arbitrum Expansion Program" is a set of tools and services maintained and provided by the Arbitrum Foundation, designed to enable developers to deploy and operate a trust-minimized network whose security depends on the security of the Ethereum blockchain.
