Layer3: Airdrop applications will be open on July 30 and token pledges will be supported
Layer3, a token distribution protocol, announced that it will open airdrop applications on July 30. Users can choose to pledge L3 to get rewards, and there is a 7-day withdrawal period when the pledge is lifted. Teams, VCs, and advisors lock tokens that will be unlocked after 12 months and cannot participate in the pledge.
Layer3 said that the amount of staking, lock-up period and active level may affect the allocation of tokens in the future. The current L3 token has not yet been launched. Previously, the Layer3 Foundation announced the token L3 economic model. The total supply of L3 is 3,333,333,333:51% is reserved for the community; 25.3% is allocated to core contributors; 23.2% is allocated to investors and 0.5% is allocated to advisors. The initial airdrop at TGE is 7.5% of the total supply. 200 million L3 (6%) are allocated to early users and S1 participants, and 50 million (1.5%) are allocated to S2 participants. Early users and S1 snapshots were taken on May 10, 2024, and S2 snapshots were taken on July 22.
