Bernstein: The United States will become a "bitcoin mining superpower"
Bernstein analysts Gautam Chhugani, Mahika Sapra, and Sanskar Chindalia noted in a memo to clients on Monday:
The United States will lead the world in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

- Gary Gensler, chairperson of the Securities Exchange Commission, a frequent critic of the industry, may be replaced by a new "crypto-friendly" chairperson;
The United States will not create a central bank digital currency (CBDC), ensuring clear self-custody rights and non-censorship of crypto transactions.
The United States will launch a stablecoin framework to promote the digital dollar as a global standard and enable cross-border transfers.
The United States will not sell its holdings of approximately 213,246 bitcoins (equivalent to nearly $15 billion) in seized assets, but will instead use them as the basis for a "national strategic bitcoin reserve."
