Moving language developer Movement Labs to join Polygon's AggLayer
Movement Labs, a blockchain developer that aims to bring Facebook's (META) Move virtual machine (MoveVM) to the Ethereum blockchain, has joined Polygon Labs' AggLayer. According to an email announcement on Tuesday, the collaboration will enable unified liquidity across Layer2 blockchains written in the Move smart contract language.
"This integration makes Movement the first Move-based ecosystem to leverage AggLayer, effectively bridging the gap between the Move and EVM ecosystems," said Movement Labs, which is understood to have built AggLayer as an "aggregation layer" that can create different Ethereum Layer 2 networks.
