Crypto Exchange Lykke Closes Trading After Suffering 22 million Dollar Suspicious Outflow
On June 6, British cryptocurrency exchange Lykke shut down trading, citing "unauthorized access" to its platform, in the latest sign of cryptocurrency hackers exploiting private keys. The incident was first reported by cyber researcher SomaXBT, which said the exchange shut down two days after it was hacked. Taylor Monahan, a MetaMask developer and cryptocurrency defense expert, said the exchange had suffered a suspicious outflow of $22 million.
