OpenAI partners with global magazine giant Condé Nast
On August 21st, according to the BBC, OpenAI has reached a multi-year cooperation agreement with global magazine giant Condé Nast, allowing ChatGPT and its search engine SearchGPT to display content from well-known publications such as Vogue, The New Yorker, and GQ. This is OpenAI's latest agreement with major media companies. Although some media companies such as the New York Times and the Chicago Tribune have opposed AI training to use its content and have taken legal action to protect it, Condé Nast believes this partnership will help protect and invest in its journalism and creative work. OpenAI launched its AI-powered search engine SearchGPT last month and is working with the media industry to optimize the platform.
