Connext proposes to upgrade the token system and improve the voting binding system
On August 14th, the cross-chain protocol Connext announced a proposal to upgrade the NEXT token system to CLEAR and improve the voting binding system. The token system directly solves the incentive introduction problem of Solver and intent protocols, while also allowing blockchains and asset issuers to adopt a new way to permissionlessly incentivize liquidity to their specific ecosystem. Compared to other protocols, the Everclear ecosystem addresses these issues by aligning rewards with intent settlement and liquidity depth, making it harder for any single entity to monopolize rewards.
