Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley bought more than $600 million of spot bitcoin ETFs in Q2
According to Reuters, in the quarterly disclosure document (13-F) filed by Goldman Sachs with the US SEC, as of June 30, it has spent about 418 million US dollars to acquire several bitcoin spot ETF assets, most of which hold nearly 7 million shares of BlackRock IBIT, worth about 238 million US dollars. The second and third largest bitcoin ETFs are Fidelity FBTC and Invesco's BTCO.
According to Morgan Stanley's quarterly disclosure filing with the SEC (13-F), as of June 30, it held 5.50 million shares of BlackRock IBIT, worth $188 million. It also holds smaller shares of ARKB and grey release GBTC.
