Filecoin to Launch Second Round of RetroPGF Program in Fall 2024
Filecoin has announced that it will launch the second round of the FIL-RetroPGF (Retrospective Public Goods Funding) program in the fall of 2024. The program aims to provide retrospective impact funding to the Filecoin ecosystem. The first round of FIL-RetroPGF has distributed more than 200,000 FI (approximately $1 million) to 95 projects.
The second round of the program will provide additional funding, streamline the application, voting, and allocation process, and improve the user experience. Funding will be streamed through Drips on FVM. FIL-RetroPGF-2 will continue to cover multiple categories such as infrastructure, tools, education, protocol R & D, governance, and products, with a particular focus on Filecoin data portals, applications to improve usability, FVM on-chain payment development, protocol R & D progress, cross-network connectivity projects, and reliable tools such as high-quality RPC providers, browsers, and dashboards.
