Putin: The time to create a unified currency for the BRICS countries is still premature
Russian President Vladimir Putin met with representatives of his country and the mainstream media of China, Brazil, Egypt, India, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, South Africa and other BRICS countries in Moscow on the 18th local time and answered relevant questions. Putin said that the time is still not ripe to create a unified currency for the BRICS countries. Putin also said that Russia is building a clearing system similar to SWIFT with the BRICS countries.
