Ripple CEO: The Trump administration is expected to bring new hope for crypto regulation and end the company's years-long legal battle
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently shared his perspective on X, highlighting the possible changes in cryptocurrency regulation under President-elect Trump, saying that Ripple and XRP may face a turning point as the new pro-cryptocurrency regulatory shift promises to bring new hope and potentially resolve years-long legal disputes.
He praised the resilience of the XRP community, admitting: "A lot has happened since XRP became the second most valuable digital asset, and the journey has been equally frustrating."
Garlinghouse pointed out: "It has been 6 years since the SEC started intervening in the cryptocurrency market, picking winners and losers... and 4 years since the SEC sued Ripple... Now, as these external (and frankly unnatural and manipulative) market factors fade away, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The tide is turning, the headwinds are turning into tailwinds, and the opportunity is huge for those of us who believe in the future of XRP."
