Solana founder: Solana does not rely on L2 solutions
Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko recently said that Solana focuses on optimizing its own first-level (L1) blockchain, emphasizing scalability and transaction efficiency, rather than relying on second-level (L2) solutions. He believes that L2 has centralization and congestion problems, making it difficult to meet the needs of decentralization. Yakovenko pointed out that Solana supports synchronous composability, which can realize real-time interaction of applications on the chain, and is especially suitable for the DeFi ecosystem. In addition, Solana also lowers the threshold for new validators through technical optimization to promote network decentralization and fairness. Yakovenko said that these advantages will help Solana maintain its leading position in the blockchain field.
