Musk will travel to Capitol Hill on behalf of DOGE to discuss federal government reform
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will travel to Capitol Hill today to discuss with House and Senate Republicans major reform ideas "to achieve deregulation, executive cuts and cost savings". This follows President-elect Donald Trump's announcement on November 12 that Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will co-lead the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE) when he becomes president, paving the way for dismantling government bureaucracy, cutting excess regulations and wasteful spending, and restructuring federal agencies. All of this is part of Trump's agenda to "save America" in his second term in the White House.
