Solana developers propose higher block computing limits to process more transactions and improve network efficiency

As reported by Cryptoslate, Solana developers are proposing to increase the block calculation limit of the network from 48 million units to 50 million units in order to process more transactions and improve network efficiency. According to details shared on GitHub via the Solana Improvement documentation, this incremental increase is intended to improve transaction processing without affecting network performance. Andrew Fitzgerald, Anza software developer and author of the proposal, mentioned that the idea is still in the draft stage. This indicates that further refinement may be made before final approval.
