Just days before the announcement of the closure of the company, employees received notice of the company's two-day closure. This follows the departure of co-founder Dr. Disrespect in mid-2024 due to allegations of misconduct. Although the studio initially expressed confidence in continuing development and releasing Deadrop in 2025, a lack of funding and staff cuts eventually led to its closure.
