Texas has created a Bitcoin Reserve Fund, the first state-run crypto fund in U.S. history
The Texas Senate passed SB 21, creating the Texas Bitcoin Reserve Fund - the first state-run crypto fund in U.S. history.
Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick called it a major step forward and in line with President Trump's vision of making the United States a global leader in cryptocurrency. Texas is leading the way.
The reserve will hold BTC and other top cryptocurrencies with a market cap threshold above $500 billion. A new advisory board will oversee its development. This is not just a national initiative - it's a national cryptocurrency policy in the making.
