Japan's Financial Services Agency has asked Apple and Google to suspend five crypto exchange apps operating without registration

February 7 news, according to Nikkei coverage, Japan's Financial Services Agency has this week asked Apple and Google to block the download of applications from five overseas crypto exchanges operating without registration. The five companies are Bybit Fintech Limited, MEXC Global, LBank Exchange, KuCoin and Bitget Limited. The FSA issued a warning to these companies under the Payment Services Act and published their names. The companies have been warned several times before not to conduct business against Japanese customers, but they have not stopped, so the FSA decided to ask them to stop operating for the first time. According to the request, Apple has removed these applications from the App Store and will no longer provide new downloads as of February 6. Google, which runs the Play Store, has not yet announced the results of the processing. Previously, it was reported earlier today that Bybit, Bitget, MEXC, Kucoin and other apps have been removed from the Japanese App Store.
