According to FOX reporter Eleanor Terrett, Binance and the SEC have just filed a joint motion to suspend the agency's case against the trading platform for 60 days, citing the potential impact of the SEC's new cryptocurrency task force on the case. The work of this working group could influence and contribute to the potential resolution of this case. After the 60-day deadline, the two sides plan to issue a joint status report to determine whether it is necessary to continue the suspension of negotiations. Eleanor Terrett expects to see other non-fraud cases (namely Ripple, Coinbase and Kraken, among others) follow suit.
