Survey: Nearly 15% of Brazilians would consider replacing bank account functions with cryptocurrencies
According to News.bitcoin, a survey by YouGov, an international online research data company, revealed that nearly 15% of Brazilians would consider replacing their bank account functions with cryptocurrencies. 14.7% of the respondents were willing to accept this possibility, with 5.7% agreeing to make this decision, while 9% were inclined to agree with this arrangement. However, more than 60% were still opposed to using cryptocurrencies instead of banks: 39.7% absolutely disagreed, and 21.7% were inclined to disagree with the idea.
According to David Eastman, managing director for Latin America at Yougov, this should act as a catalyst for the bank to change how it does business with clients. In the case that these clients do leave, this will impact the revenues of these Financial Institution Groups, cutting them a lot in the process.
