House Republicans form "Congressional Cryptocurrency Caucus" to push friendly policy legislation

According to Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett, U.S. House Republican Whip Tom Emmer and Representative Ritchie Torres are teaming up to form the Congressional Crypto Caucus, a bipartisan initiative to advance crypto-friendly policies in the House of Representatives. Unlike the Congressional Blockchain Caucus, which was formed in 2017, the group will operate more as a voting bloc to mobilize support for digital asset bills being worked on in the House, including stablecoins and market structure bills. Rep. Emmer said the caucus was formed in response to the millions of American voters who voted in November for candidates who prioritize digital assets and blockchain technology.
